THE NIGHT BEFORE:
Mom: So you’re going to dancing with the stars..
Me: What should I wear? *bright idea* let’s look in Sabrina's closet
Mom: You HAVE to WEAR a Dress!!
Me: Nooo, Laura isn't, black pants will be fine with a cute Shirt
Later on that night...
Me: Laura my mom said we have to wear dresses
Laura: I don't have a dress
*Laura calls up Shareen and tells her to wear a dress*
DAY OF:
Waiting an hour in line playing phase 10 we are quick to realize that Laura and I are way under dressed and Shareen of course is dressed up. When the audience coordinator checks our ticket he says we can't go in, but can maybe use us if they need more people, but we wouldn't find out for another 2 hours. We ended up leaving because parking was expensive if we stayed any longer.
We were then declared to have FUN in Hollywood since we couldn't get in. We decide to go Vintage clothes shopping for Shareen's Halloween costume. Shareen randomly picked a store from a list that are GPS was shown called Selenas Vintage clothing (something like that). It's in West Hollywood and supposedly celebrity central. We didn't run into any celebs unfortunately but the vintage shop we happened to actually go into is celebrity’s favorite vintage store. The owner’s husband was telling us how Paris Hilton, The Kardashian, Lindsey Lohan, Renee Zilwinger are all regular shoppers there and other A list celebrities and their stylists. Just the day before Bruce Willis stylist came inside. He told us about the thick black AMEX cards, who nice celebs were, how some were celebs were price conscious, and how they get their hair done next door. We didn't buy anything there since the non designer dresses were 200-300 dollars and designer dresses were at least 600. Expensive but Pretty.
Anyways he actually recommend some great vintage shops on Melrose that were closer to our price range which were called American vintage, Slow, AA Arvanick. All pretty Neat and wished I had some spare cash to spend.
We then made our way too walk of fame. Then behold we were invited to be in the studio audience of the Jimmy Kimmel Show. The guest star was Toni Braxton because she was eliminated from dancing with the stars and 2 live performances from Jess Mccartney. Woo Hoo!
On our way back to the car we ran into Jack Sparrow. He told us we needed to take a picture with him and I told him we didn’t NEED anything since it wasn’t a necessity and then he said he needed our money. Then he tried to get my phone number, eww!
Then we were on our way home around 9 or 10pm and stopped at Natalie’s house in Corona. Before I knew it I was on my way to CBU to surprise Angel to watch her volleyball game. It was quite fun since there team name was Red Hot Chili Peppers and we were screaming remarks like become 1 pepper, and make some salsa. They won, Angel did great!
We ended up going back to Nat's house and staying till like 2 am playing truth or dare....more like truth and had some ice-cream sandwiches.
And that concludes my adventure in Hollywood, Yay for not getting lost!
