Hooray! I'm posting pics of our new addition to our family. A Vietnamese dwarf pig. 4 weeks old. He doesn't have a name yet either, sad.

Possible choices:, Joey, Oly, Ziggy, Piglet, Rebel, Chance, Bacon, Pork chops. (I like cliché names). Share your thoughts, thanks!

Do you pursue happiness?

The difference between Joy and Happiness?

1. Happiness depends on circumstances
Joy defies circumstances

2. Happiness driven by external power
Joy driven by internal power

3. Happiness cannot coexist w/ adversity
Joy can co-exist w/ doubt, ambiguity, and pain

4. Happiness is variable/temporal
Joy is constant/eternal

5. Happiness is event oriented
Joy is process oriented

6. Happiness is based on possessions
Joy is based on our identity

7. Happiness is inevitable
Joy is optional

So I ask you now, do you want to pursue happiness or want to be joyful?

The believer's joy is Christ joy. John 5:11
